On location or in studio
Every session starts with a conversation. I want to know who you are, what you do, and what you're hoping to walk away with. That curiosity is what makes the images feel like you and not just a photo that could be anyone. The goal is always something you're actually excited to use.

Setting the Scene
Your space already says a lot about who you are. a studio full of color and texture or an office with a little personality, shooting where you work adds context that a plain backdrop could never.
The workspace
Natural light and a setting that feels like you. Portland has no shortage of beautiful spots. Tell me the vibe and I'll point you in the right direction, or take me to your favorite place.
about town
A clean, classic look wherever you are. I bring the studio to you with a portable backdrop, available in colors by request. Perfect for anyone who wants a polished result without coming to a studio.
backdrop
A private studio in NW Portland. a variety of backdrops, and just enough furniture to give your images some personality. Bring a few personal props if you'd like. one hour, 3 outfits, and a mix of settings.
THe STUDIO
I was just smiling ear to ear as I scrolled through each person’s stunning, glowing, photos. WOW!!!! I am speechless. These are the best headshots I have ever seen, and I have been in this industry for 21 years. Not to mention you moved so swiftly with such confidence, ease, and comfort.

For portrait sessions: wear anything you feel amazing in. Something comfortable, easy to move in, and true to your personality or brand.
For headshots: here are a few simple guidelines:
Do:
Stick with business casual. Solid or textured tops, button downs, blouses, crisp shirts, or sweaters.
Choose flattering solid colors. Neutrals, earth tones, and mid tones like navy, burgundy, or forest green all work great. Avoid stark white unless layered.
Add a little personality. A pop of color, a cool accessory, or an interesting texture is always welcome as long as it's not distracting.
Keep it neat. Wrinkle free and lint free always photographs better. Iron or steam ahead of time.
Wear something you feel confident in. Avoid anything too tight or anything that makes you self conscious.
Avoid:
Loud patterns or logos. These distract and can date your photo.
Neon
Heavy layers or bulky outerwear. A clean silhouette always wins.
