Baked salmon fillets garnished with fresh herbs and lemon slices in a black dish, with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and herbs around it, on a wooden table with a blue striped cloth.
Two yellow bags of Portland Coffee Roasters coffee beans, one labeled Peru and the other labeled Espresso, are placed on a blue and white striped cloth. Coffee beans are scattered on a white marble surface and a wooden cutting board. A glass coffee server is partially visible, and a black kettle is in the background.
A bowl of chicken and mushroom soup garnished with cilantro, chili peppers, and lime wedges, with fresh cilantro, lime, and chili peppers around it, and a jar of Tom Kha broth nearby.

Studio food photography for food brands, bloggers, cookbook authors, and anyone who needs images that are as real as they are beautiful.

Your food, your space, the light, the energy, the details that make your restaurant feel like yours. I collaborate with your chef and work around your service hours to document all of it.

RESTAURANTS

A smiling female chef in a white chef's coat in a restaurant kitchen leaning against a stainless steel counter with plates behind her.

Farmers, ranchers, chefs, makers, the people behind the food are often the most compelling part of the story. I shoot with a mix of candid documentary images and portraits TO tell the full story.

food people

Good food speaks for itself. From how it grows to how it's made to how it's plated, I shoot it all bold and exactly as it is. No tricks, no substitutes. What you see is what you eat.

I style with flavor cues, keeping things feeling abundant and delicious. Props and backgrounds are chosen to complement your brand without ever upstaging the star of the show.

Setting the Scene

Interior of a restaurant with wooden beams and metal accents, featuring two large blackboards with white graphic symbols and text indicating Portland location and street names, with a person in pink walking past the counter.

I work around your service hours and in close collaboration with your team. My job is to honor your vision, meet the mood of your space, and make your food look exactly as good as it tastes.

restaurant

Bright kitchen with white walls, large window, wooden cabinets, and a white countertop. Contains potted plants, bottles, and a framed artwork on the wall.

My fully equipped in-home kitchen studio is where I cook, style, and shoot. It's a controlled environment built for food, with a wide variety of props and backgrounds to match your brand.

kitchen studio

A herd of cows standing on a grassy field near a body of water with mountains in the background on a partly cloudy day.

Some of the best food stories start long before the kitchen. I document the people, the place, and the process with candid images and portraits that capture the heart of where food actually comes from.

on location

The Photos are honestly next level—something that belongs in an Ina Garten cookbook. There’s a warmth, texture, and story in them that elevates everything we’re trying to bring to our customers.
